It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States, below normal in NayPyiTaw, East Bago Region and Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and about normal in Mandalay, West Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State.

Rainy days are expected about about (6) to (8) days in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and about (3) to (5) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and  Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
