Tornado

Tornado

A tornado is a severe weather event that occurs at the base of a cumulonimbus cloud or a separate cumulonimbus cloud.

A tornado is a small vortex formed by the friction of upward and downward winds within a cloud, which lifts objects, buildings and plants on the ground and carries them away at speeds of 60 to 80 mph. The event lasts for only (15) to (35) minutes and the tornado can be about (1) mile in diameter. If the event occurs over the sea, it is called a water spout.
