4-9-2025::  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast has moved west-northwestwards over the North Odisha coast. It is likely continued to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India and gradually weakened during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Tropical Depression Condition

According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical storm “Kajiki” over upper parts of Laos has crossed and moved westwards and downgraded into a Tropical Depression.

Next 9 hours forecast

It is likely continue to move westwards and downgrade into a low pressure cell over Northern Thailand during next 9 hrs.

Due to the Tropical Depression rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States from today afternoon to 29-8-2025. Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experience off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

People should be awared the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, Lightning strike, lightning, hails, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and to make necessary preparations for inland water transport, domestic flight and irrigation dams.
