28-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and reached over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 585 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 195 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Chennai(India), 160 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and intensify into Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and cross Andhra Pradesh Coast during next 24 hours. Weather is Cloudy over the West central Bay of Bengal, a few cloud to partly cloudy  Andaman Sea  and lsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Tropical storm “Kajiki” Condition

According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, yesterday the Typhoon “Kajiki” crossed the inland region of Vietnam has moved westwards and downhraded into Tropical Storm “Kajiki” over upper parts of Laos.

Next 12 hours forecast

It is likely continue to move westwards and downgrade into a Tropical Depression over inland regions of Laos during next 6 hrs and downgrade into a low pressure cell over Northern Thailand during next 12 hrs.

Due to the Tropical Storm “Kajiki” rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States from today morning to 29-8-2025. Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experience off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
