8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Land Depression warning (No.04/2020)

Issued at (07:00) hours M.S.T on 19- 9-2020

According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the tropical storm

over Thailand has weaken into a land depression. It is forecast continue

to move West ward and likely to cross to Kayin State, Myawaddy city

(Myanmar) as a Low Pressure Area noon today.

General Caution

            Due to the land depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly 
widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, 
Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Rakhine,
 Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls
 and isolated heavy falls during today morning to (22.9.2020).
Advisory
 Due to the land depression, people should be aware heavy rainfall 
with strong wind, flash flood and landslide near the hilly areas and
 also small rivers.
