It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours. Weather a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 Tropical Storm (NONGFA) Condition

According to the observations at 16:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm (NONGFA) has crossed near Vinh, (Vietnam) and moved Westwards and reached the interior regions of Vietnam.

Next 24 hours forecast

It is likely continue to move Westwards and gradually weaken into a Tropical Depression over Lao and Thai during next 24 hours.

General Caution

Due to the Tropical Storm(NONGFA), rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States today evening to 3-9-2025. Occasional squalls with rough seas are will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
