10-1-2026 According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Northeast Sri Lanka Coast) has moved West-Northwestwards and starts crossing North Sri Lanka coast between Trincomalee and Jaffna as a land depression. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards. Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 According to the observations at 18:30 hrs MST today, due to the western disturbances and the eastern disturbances, development of convective clouds, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin State and fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls during tonight to 15-4-2025 and rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Yangon,  Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and fairly widespread to widespread in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls during 16-4-2025 to 18-4-2025.
