27-7-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to the western disturbances, westerly trough and the winds which bring the moisture from Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from (14.1.2022) to (19.1.2022).
