15-10-2024:According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal during next (12) hrs and may reach to North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India around 17-10-2024 morning.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to the convergence of warm air from Andaman Sea, Bay of Bengal, cold air from China high pressure system and the Easterly waves, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States from (15.2.2022) to (18.2.2022).

        People should be awared untimely rainfall accompanied with thunder, lightning and hails.
