30-11-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Very Severe Cyclonic Strom

          According to the observations at (18:00) hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensifined into the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR). It is centered at about (80) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Cuddalore, about (80) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (120) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) is coded yellow stage.
