2-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 80 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to recurve slowly Southwestwards and weaken gradually into a Depression during next 12 hrs.Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Weather will be generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be likely below normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and  Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon states and about normal in  Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.

Rainy days are expected about (3) to (5) days in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State,  about (1) to (2) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay  and  Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon states and weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.

Day Temperature will be (1.5 °C) above normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin,  Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Yangon and  Ayeyarwady regions.
