A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain will be expected above normal in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan and Kayah States.
Rainy days will be expected 6 to 8 days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about 3 to 5 days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan and Kayah States.

Day temperature will be (1.5 °C) above normal temperature of May in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions and about normal temperature of May in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
