Mid Monsoon Period
The mid monsoon period is establishment of first July to the end of August.
Bay of Bengal Condition
Four low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into depressions. During this period, monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Rain Conditions
Rain or thundershowers will be likely below normal in Taninthayi Region and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
