25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over Bay of Bengal and it may further intensity into a depression.  Monsoon will be moderate.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

 Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about normal rain in Sagaing, Mandalay and  Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.

 Rainy days will be expected (7) to (9) days in  Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, South Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and (4) to (6) days in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin and Kayah States.
