24-10-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, theWell Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha and West Bengal coasts, India still persist. It is likely to move West-Northwest wards and concentrate into a Depression during next (12)hrs.

General caution

Due to the well markedlow pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls from this morning to (15.8.2022). Occasionally squall with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along RakhineCoast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.
