29-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 785 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 80 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast of Bengladesh coast-North Rakhine Coastal of Myanmar still persists.

Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach about (40-45) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts from today noon to (11.6.2023).

Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States with strong wind from today noon to (11.6.2023).

Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, people should be awared heavy rain with strong wind, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and also domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts.
