22-10-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may across North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may cross to North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal Coasts(India) during next (24) hours.

General caution

  1. Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts from tonight to during next (24) hours.
  2. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in the coastal areas with regionally and isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from tonight to during next (24) hours.
