Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

Issued at (14:00) hours M.S.T on 21-10-2023

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a well marked low pressure area now lies over Southeast Bay and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely initially to move Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal on (22.10.2023). Thereafter, it is likely forecast to move North-Northeastwards towards Bangladesh coast and adjoining West Bengal coast, India and further intensify on (25.10.2023).
