30-11-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs.   Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal remained practically stationary. It is centered at about (70) miles South-Southeast of Digha and (85)miles Southeast of Blasore (India). Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 07thAugust, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in the whole country with regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and TaninthayiRegions and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Frequent squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10– 15)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
