12-12-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast ) is crossing near North Sri Lanka coast. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over Tamil Nadu Coast, India, during next 6 hrs. Weather is a few cloud  over the North Bay and East central  bay and partly cloudy to cloudy  over the  Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for First (10) days of April 2015

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about (1-2) feet  at  Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha, and about (½-1) foot at Mandalay, Sagaing, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu , Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun .

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above  the present water levels about (1) foot at Hkamti and  Homalin  and (½) foot at Mawlaik, Kalewa and Monywa.
