23-10-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) has moved Northwestwards and crossed North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weakened into a Low pressure area during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for First (10) days of April 2019

           The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about 2-4 feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and NyaungOo, and about 1-2 feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

            The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about 1-2 feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about ½-1 foot at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
