23-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about (4-6) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, about (1-3) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Pyay, and to fall below the present water levels  about (½-1) foot at Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above the present water levels  about (3-5) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
