Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” Condition
According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 65 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It does not intend to move towards Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Cyclonic Storm is coded as yellow stage.

The Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” is located at Latitude 9.6 degree North and Longitude 80.7 degree East, centre pressure of Cyclonic Storm is 998 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 45 miles per hour at 15:30 hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).
