SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kamamaung (8.50)inches, Shwegone (7.50)inches, Hlaingbwe (7.44)inches, Ann (6.61) inches, Belin (5.55)inches, Taungkok (5.16)inches, Kyar-In-Seikkyi and Paing kyone (5.12)inches each, Shwekyin (4.84)inches, Payathonsu (4.57)inches, Mawlamyine (4.45)inches, Hpapun (4.05)inches, Putao, Kyaukpyu, Madauk and Kyeikmayaw (3.78)inches each, Kataingti (3.69)inches, Mudon (3.39) inches and Maungdaw (3.34)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
