SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan State, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan State and isolated in Rakhine and Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kachin State, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine State and (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region, (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Ramthlo, (9°C) in Putao and (10°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Hainggyigyun (1.97)inches, Coco Island (1.70)inches, Hmawbi (1.65)inches, Labutta (1.26)inches, Pathein (1.18)inches and Bawlakhae (0.98)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: : According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm (Gaja) over the East Central Bay and adjoining West Central Bay and South East Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwest ward. It is centered at about (250)miles Northwest of Portblair, about (500)miles East of Chennai (India) and about (260)miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Nortnern Shan, Chin,  Rakhine,  Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and Fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)mph. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in off and along  Myanmar Coasts.    

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State.
