23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below March normal temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin and Southern Shan States, (3°C) below March normal temperatures in Northern Shan and Chin States and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (37°C) each in Hlaingtat, Chauk, Phyu, Yangon (Northern Dagon), Bawlakhae, Hpa-an, Kawkareik and Yay. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Putao (0.27)inch and Hkamti (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
