28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (4°C) above March normal temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) above March normal temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and Chin States and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C) each in Magway and Taunggu, (40°C) each in Monywa, Mandalay, Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Yamethin, Kyaukse, Tada U, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Minbu, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw, Sinbyugyun and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Machanbaw (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
