28-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Strait of Malacca has moved Eastwards and downgraded into Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Malaysia. It is likely continue to move Eastwards and gradually weaken during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DATWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross eastern part of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reached over the North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan and Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States and isolated in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April normal temperature in Mon State, (2°C) below April normal temperature in Kachin State and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C) each in Magway, Taungdwingyi, Taunggu and  Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Meiktila, Minbu, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Pyay and Hpa-an. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Pyay (1.89)inches, Kunlong (1.22)inches, Tagaung(Agro) (1.13)inches, Tongzan (1.06) inches, Ramthlo (0.94)inch, Tamu (0.75)inch, Hakha and Kalewa (0.71)inch each, Falam (0.67)inch, Machanbaw (0.63)inch, Mogaung and Thipaw (0.59) inch each, Putao, Lashio and Myitsone (0.55)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
