BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Magway Region, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing,Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate to strong elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10 - 12) feet in Deltaic and Rakhine Coasts and (6 - 9) feet in Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Rakhine Coastal Areas.
