Deep Depression
According to the observations at (21:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved northwards and it is intensified in to a Deep Depression. It is centered at about (675) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco-Island, (775) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (125)Nautical miles Northeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (170) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Nagapattinam, (200)Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and (230)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the deep depression is coded yellow stage.

Deep Depression is located at Latitude (10.0) degree North and Longitude (82.6) degree East, centre pressure of deep depression is (1002) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35-40) miles per hour at (21:30)hrs M.S.T today.
During next (48) hrs Forecast
The deep depression is contuinous to move Northwestwards and it is likely to reach east coast of Sri Lanka till 05th March morning and then towards north Tamil Nadu Coast during next (48) hours.
