Depression
According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal moved West-Northwestwards now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (625) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (735) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (210) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka)and (335) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Karaikal(India).
It does not intend to move towards Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Depression is coded as yellow stage.

The Depression is located at Latitude (8.1) degree North and Longitude (84.7) degree East, centre pressure of Depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30) miles per hour at (05:30)hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and then recurve South-Southwest wards and cross Siri Lanka coasts around (1.2.2023).
