27-7-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A Slight earthquake of magnitude (4.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (16) miles east of Keng Tung), latitude 21.28°N, longitude 99.85°E, depth (5) kilometers, about (17) miles east of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (02) hr (05) min (13) sec M.S.T on 10th June, 2023.
