24-10-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (10) miles south-southwest of Hlegu), latitude 16.95°N, longitude 96.19°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (6) miles northeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (22) hr (55) min (36) sec M.S.T on 6th May, 2025.
