3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (26) miles north-northwest of Tanaing), latitude 26.72°N, longitude 96.59°E, depth (10) kilometers about (100) miles northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (56)min (59)sec M.S.T. on 21^st June, 2018.
