3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (13) miles southwest of Mingin), latitude 22.73°N, longitude 94.38°E, depth (60)kilometers about (50) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hr (49)min (55)sec M.S.T on 27^th September, 2018.
