17-2-2026:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (Myanmar-India Border Region), latitude 24.01°N, longitude 93.44°E, depth (47)kilometers about (57) miles west-southwest of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hr (49)min (25)sec M.S.T on 11th November, 2018.
