17-11-2025:  According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours. Weather a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (29)miles northeast of Tharrawaddy), latitude 17.97°N, longitude 96.04°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (70)miles southwest of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (07)min (37)sec M.S.T on 19th  August, 2019.
