13-9-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (Off North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (23) miles northwest of Paungbyin), latitude 24.52°N, longitude 94.57°E, depth (11) kilometers, about (26) miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (11)hr (33)min (30)sec M.S.T on 26th July, 2021.
