It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Nicobar Islands, India Region), latitude 9.25°N, longitude 94.15°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (541) miles south-southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (10)hr (13)min (54)sec M.S.T on 3rd August, 2021.
