It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (19)miles north-northwest of Mohnyin), latitude 25.05°N, longitude 96.31°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (60)miles north of Katha seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hr (45)min (10)sec M.S.T on 24th August, 2021.
