It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (11)miles south-southwest of Kawlin), latitude 23.64°N, longitude 95.63°E, depth (4)kilometers, about (30)miles north-northeast of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (34)min (08)sec M.S.T on 31th August, 2021.
