12-9-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area has formed over the Northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal(Off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles north-northeast of Thantlang), latitude 22.79°N, longitude 93.45°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (14) miles northwest of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (21)hr (02)min (12)sec M.S.T on 19^th January, 2022.
