(29.11.2023)According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (30.11.2023). Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal on (2.12.2023).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Ayeyarwady River

     According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Nyaung Oo has exceeded by about (1) foot above its danger level. It may fall below its danger level during the next (3) days.

According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Seiktha has exceeded by about (1½) feet above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level about (½) foot during the next (2) days and may remain above its danger level.

   According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Hinthada has exceeded by about (3½) inches above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

   According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Zalun has exceeded by about (3) inches above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level about (½) foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

   It is especially advertised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Hinthada and Zalun Townships, and Seiktha to take precaution measure.
