2-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 80 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to recurve slowly Southwestwards and weaken gradually into a Depression during next 12 hrs.Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, under the influence of the low pressure area over Northeast Bay of Bengal rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in the following Regions and States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavy falls during the next (3) days commencing afternoon today.

Rain are likely to be above (3)inches, (77mm) in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States during (24)hours.

Rain are likely to be above (1.5)inches, (38mm) in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions during (24)hours.
