According to the observations at 10:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal almost stationary and still persists. It is likely to move West–Northwestwards towards Sri Lanka during next 24 hours.
