BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd AUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h.
