27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were  2°C below January average temperatures in Kayin, Chin, Rakhine States and 2°C above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Eastern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 3.4°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.1°C in Loilin, 5.0°C in Heho, 5.2°C in Tiddim, 7.0°C in Pinlaung, 7.2°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.5°C in Mongyang, 8.0°C in Myitkyina and 8.8°C in Mingin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th January 2025: Light rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern Shan) States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
