SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kachin, Mon States. During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 6°C below February average temperature in Rakhine State, 3°C below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C below February average temperatures in Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Chin State and 2°C above February average temperatures in Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, 3°C to 4°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Eastern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.0°C in Hakha, 5.2°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.2°C in Tiddim, 6.7°C in Loilin, 7.0°C each in Mingin, Heho and Mongyang, 8.5°C in Myitkyina, 9.0°C in Kalewa, 9.8°C in Sittwe, 10.0°C each in Pyinoolwin, Gangaw and Pinlaung and 10.3°C in Mawlaik. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Putao.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12^th February 2025:  Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing region. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
