18-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka has reached over Comorin area. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th February 2025:  Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing region. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
