SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Southern Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.1°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 2.4°C in Heho, 3.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 4.4°C in Loilin, 4.5°C in Mongyang, 4.8°C in Hakha, 6.7°C in Pinlaung, 7.7°C in Tiddim, 8.5°C in Nyaung Shwe and 8.6°C Taunggyi.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th February 2025: Light rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
